I’d like to remind Mary Smith,
and anyone else who thinks Hillary Rodham Clinton would make a wonderful President,
of a little history she seems to have forgotten (or doesn't care about).
“It’s impossible to talk about all of her abilities...”
because Hillary Rodham Clinton has none.
Her biggest independent accomplishment was her participation in the
Watergate investigations. Oh, and
staying married to a philandering serial liar.
How ironic that it was her husband who was actually impeached as
President on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice, for putting his own
self-interests and ambitions ahead of the Presidency and the country.
She did somehow manage to turn a $1000 investment in cattle
futures into $100,000. And she managed
to somehow transfer numerous FBI files on her enemies from the FBI to her office. And that was before the Patriot Act. Imagine what she could do now with the power
that law gives the President.
Her proposal to socialize our health care industry was a
miserable failure. Nevertheless, she is
still clinging to that socialist dream.
In the Senate, she voted in favor of the resolution
authorizing the use of military force in Iraq.
But later she voted to withhold funds to equip those same troops.
Regarding “the open doors she and the former president would
have to all of the world leaders....”
All Presidents have an open door to world leaders. But it takes good judgment to be able to
look someone in the eye, shake their hand, and figure out who’s telling you the
truth and who’s lying to you.
Remember the 60 Minutes interview Hillary Rodham Clinton and
her husband made in 1992? Remember when
she told us that the rumors about her husband being unfaithful to their
marriage was just some right wing conspiracy?
Either she was too stupid to know the truth, or she knew the truth and
was lying to us. The matter speaks
directly to her judgment and to her character, or lack thereof.
“Hillary would appoint a cabinet that would bring us
together as a people to address the global issues with diplomacy…” Let's compare that statement against the
global problem of terrorism. How do you
negotiate with people who have vowed to kill you or die trying?
They want us dead.
Can we negotiate? They want us
dead. But can’t we all get along? No.
They want us dead. Period. End of discussion. Deterrence doesn’t work with people who are willing to die for
their unholy cause.
It’s not the President’s job to “bring people
together.” It’s the President’s job to
protect America, to defend the Constitution against all enemies. People come together of their own free will,
not because someone commands it or passes a law to do it. In a free society, we each have the right to
associate with those we agree with, or to choose not to associate with those
with whom we disagree.
Islamic extremists believe Allah has commanded them to kill
the infidels. That’s us. And Israel.
Iran is developing nuclear weapons, and has vowed to use them to destroy
Israel and the United States. I take
them at their word.
I don’t oppose Hillary Rodham Clinton because she’s a woman. I oppose her because she’s a socialist nut
who wants to impose her socialist ideas on the rest of us by force of law.
I’m opposed to her because she’s a threat to Liberty, yours
as well as mine.
