If you had asked them, 90% of the 69,498,216 voters who voted for Barack Husseim Obama in 2008 could tell you one thing about their candidate: He was black.
Beyond his race, very few of Obama’s supporters could tell
you what the candidate’s political positions were.
By his own admission, not even Tom Brokaw, with all the
resources of NBC and General Electric available to him, was able to figure out
where Obama stood on the political spectrum.
Not for lack of a record.
Some of us took the time to examine the candidate’s record. It didn’t take too much research to discover
Obama’s radically leftist bent. And we warned America what would happen if
Obama was elected.
Didn’t seem to matter then.
Voters bought into the Bush hatred, bought into the lies about “the
worst economy since the Great Depression,” bought into the racism of the left,
bought into voting for “the first black president.”
In the past four months, we’ve seen just how costly it can
be to cast an uninformed vote. Costly
in terms of both money and Liberty.
In just four months as President, we’ve witnessed Barack
Hussein Obama quadruple a projected $450 billion budget deficit into more than
$1.8 trillion deficit this year. And
it’s now projected to stay at that level for the foreseeable future, unlike the
previous deficits, which were getting smaller each year.
We’ve witnessed one lawbreaker after another nominated to
the President’s cabinet. We’ve
witnessed a president who promised not to allow lobbyists in his cabinet
nominate numerous lobbyists to his cabinet.
And now this President has nominated a Supreme Court Justice
with a record of deciding cases based not on the Constitution but on her life
experiences, a judge whose interpretation of law has been overturned in more
than 50% of her cases.
We’ve witnessed the partial nationalization of the banking
industry, the automobile industry, and the insurance industry. We’re witnessing plans to nationalize the
health care industry, plans which will double the cost of energy, and proposals
to bail out the irresponsible spending by many states.
At the same time, we have a president who admits we don’t
have the money to pay for all this federal spending.
We’ve witnessed a president who promised to go through the
federal budget line by line to eliminate waste, but didn’t even bother to read
a $787 billion “stimulus” bill before signing it into law. The liberals who control Congress wouldn’t
even consider the alternative Republican bill that cost half as much and would
have created twice as many jobs in half the time. We’ve also witnessed this president vow to veto any bill with
earmarks, then sign a bill with over 8,000 earmarks.
Barack Hussein Obama has said he plans to fundamentally
change America. We’ve only had a taste
of the changes he envisions for America.
This President plans to keep spending your money for you, on things he
hasn’t the Constitutional authority to be doing.
This President, acting in cooperation with the Congress, is
shredding the frail fabric of our threadbare Constitution.
Doesn’t matter to the complicit Congress. Doesn’t matter to the complicit press. And it didn’t seem to matter to the 69,498,216 people who
voted for this President.
Well, it matters to me.
And it matters to a growing number of the 3 out of 4 Americans who didn’t
vote for this president.
More and more Americans are just now waking up to the dirty
little secret that was kept from them last year: Barack Hussein Obama is an anti-Constitutional leftist, steeped
in racist ideology and Chicago-style politics, who plans to use his office to
extract “social justice” and “economic justice” from every successful sector of
America.
America is at a crossroads.
The rumblings of a new American Revolution are growing stronger,
approaching critical mass. Even now,
the battle is just beginning.
Will you choose to follow the President down his path toward
America’s socialist future? Or will you
choose to follow the path of limited government charted for America by it’s
Founders?
You still have the freedom to choose your path…for now.
